In my yard there was a bed that made part of the yard feel cut off. Since the yard isn't huge to begin with, it needs all the visual space it can get so I've been making some modifications.

For various reasons (work, new baby, weather, etc) I was a horrible gardener this year, failing at upkeep on some of my beds. I couldn't find anything that definitely matched when I googled this - my strawberry plants now have a lot of pink on leaves. They don't look diseased in a way I'd expect, they otherwise seem healthy. Closest I could find was leaf spot but it's not spotty, just large patches of bright pink/red. Has anyone had any experience - positive or negative - with vertical gardening?

Ok, so I'm working out a list of supplies I'll need to get when I get home and those that my boyfriend can get from his grandfather (who's grown his own produce forever). Strawberries! Last year they didn't do so good- we put up the rabbit fence late and they only produced a handful. I was beginning to think they were more trouble and space than they were worth. They proved me wrong this year!
